Having a Vision of compassion to open our hearts to those in need, combined with our commitment to share our time, talent, and treasures with those who are less fortunate -makes Rotarians like ourselves do the extraordinary things that we do.

Our Club has been around for 10 Years and we are known for all the Multiple Charities that we support:

Vocational Centre in Panch Kutir
Our very own Vocational Centre that runs in Panch Kutir, where we help to educate the underprivileged.

The Hiranandani Powai Run
Our signature fund raising event – The Hiranandani Run, is recognized across all communities & attracts more than 10000 people from every walk of life.  We hope to make it bigger & better with every passing year.

Little Hearts
This is an ongoing project which our club will be working in full support for the months to come.

MotoMedic
A Bike Ambulance service ’MOTO MEDIC’ launched this July, A very first of its kind in Powai is one of the first project of  this year and we hope to save some lives & do our bit for the society.

Thalassemia
We have already committed some monies to Think foundation for diff types of tests required for patients. It’s a medical project very close to our hearts and we hope to expand our financial assistance in this direction in the months to come.

Cancer / Diabetes / Blood camps
These are some of the medical avenues that we will be working on closely this year

Dental & Eye Camps
We are looking at doing theses camps at various underprivileged schools & colleges

Plastic Free Powai
This is a campaign started aggressively by us to spread awareness to ditch plastic products wherever /whenever possible. it’s an ongoing process, but we hope to make even if small -significant change in our area.

Girl Child Education
This is a vison of every Laker and we support financial assistance to more than 100 girls every year through Kartavya foundation.

Individual Medical Assistance
We also reach out to individual medical assistance to one in need, by allocating  a specific amount sanctioned by the club.
These are normally 2/3 cases in a month.

Overall, I hold a vision of service to others, to help those in need, a goodwill towards others where we can  see younger and older alike come together to help communities because engaging Rotary and changing lives is not for just the old, not for just the young, but for every soul who can make a difference. Vision to surprise ourselves and everyone else by what we do in the year ahead and set new standards of excellence in service like we always have.
